My name is Ashlie and i’m on a mission to plant the ‘seed’ of knowledge behind holisitic approaches to your everyday life.
There once was a time when I would wake up without a care in the world. That time has been long gone. Now I am usually awakened by my two kids ready to start the day. I regret taking advantage of all those times I was able to actually sleep!
I remember being in junior high school eating a bag of chips for lunch everyday. That sounds horrible now and my gut turns thinking about it but they were delicious at the time!
Shortly after I had my first son, I became curious about the holistic lifestyle. Being a first time mom, I wanted to give my son everything pure, natural and organic when possible. Seeing his little body and thinking about him eating chips for lunch was not an equation in my brain. It’s super convenient to hand over a processed snack but I made a promise to myself to give it my all so that one day when he is old enough to make his own decisions about lunch, he’ll be consciously thinking about what will fuel his body and what won’t.
I welcomed my second son in 2018 and our family continues to thrive on holistic approaches to our daily challenges.
The term ‘holistic’ is characterized by the treatment of the whole person, taking into account mental and social factors, rather than just the symptoms of a disease.
Throughout my site i’ll be posting items my family uses, recipes, routines and all things holistic.
Now it engulfs my life along side my kids and I couldn’t be happier.
Our lives are beautiful and should be enjoyed to the fullest with the purest ingredients.
