An honest review about Young Living

You’ve probably heard of this essential oil giant.

They have been around for 25 years and believe that life should be filled with wellness, purpose, and abundance. What else can you ask for?

They offer a variety of products to help people make wiser lifestyle decisions, and essential oils are just the beginning. They offer products for  personal wellness, in addition to a beauty routine, fitness goals, and home.

I’m not kidding when I say they have everything but the kitchen sink. Their products range from the standard essential oils, toothpastes, lotions, roll-ons, pet chews, mineral based makeup, baby wipes to meal replacement items.

They have their own farms as well as partner farms across the globe and their own distilleries. They have a ‘Seed to Seal’ standard they abide by which is noted as:

“Millions around the world have discovered the benefits of pure essential oils, derived naturally from plants. We’re committed to establishing and maintaining the ultimate, industry-leading standard in essential oil products. For us, the non-negotiable benchmarks for delivering a product that our customers can feel great about are multifaceted and exacting. We’re proud to offer an extensive line of essential oils and essential oil-infused, plant-based products that represent the best of nature—through the standards of our Seed to Seal quality commitment.

Young Living embraces a rigorous quality control standard to help ensure our products meet strict specifications. Seed to Seal is our commitment that helps ensure that with every pure essential oil and Young Living product your family uses, you’re enjoying the benefits of our global resources, industry leadership, and over two decades of innovation. The result? A pristine final product that you know has been created with conscientious Sourcing, Science, and Standards—the three pillars of Seed to Seal.

As the leader of the essential oils movement, Young Living is paving the way for every other essential oil company to improve processes that protect our planet and ensure the highest quality standards.”

If you’re familiar with this company you probably already know it is a Multi-Level Marketing company. Which simply means they rely on their distributors to sell their products instead of running commercials and so forth.

You can either purchase their products at the wholesale rate which is 24% less OR you can purchase at the retail rate.

Anyone I know (myself included) would automatically choose the cheaper price. Why spend an extra 24% if you don’t need to?

You’re probably thinking, “Okay, they have these awesome products, and I can pay 24% less than retail… WHAT’S THE CATCH ALREADY!!”

The catch is if you want that cheaper rate you have to sign up as a distributor. That only really means you have the ability to sell their products if you choose to. There is no obligation to sell in order to continually receive 24% off each order you place.

If you’re anything like me, the second you realize you have something great you’re telling everyone you know. It can be that amazing electronic device you just got, or book you just read, or in my case, that homemade all purpose cleaner that actually works, makes my house smell great and is not an endocrine disruptor!! I know, total mom brain.

Chances are you’re already recommending products you love, so why not get paid to actually share the love?

Young Living’s compensation plan has a magnitude of information. If you are interested in trying them out check out my other page here.

My frequent products are the entire Thieves cleaning line, the aromabright toothpaste, mouthwash and a collection of their essential oils.

If you are not up for making your own toothpastes or beard oil then I recommend giving YL a shot. Any all natural product that has essential oils in it and replaces a synthetic laced product is good in my book.

There are so many essential oil companies out there, its hard to know which one to try let alone trust. I will be creating honest reviews on many of the brands so stay tuned!
